Bij de verkiezing van de Dutch and Belgian Institute of Doll Artists, DABIDA, heb ik op 5 april 2009 de eerste prijs in ontvangst mogen nemen voor mijn sculpture Guardian. Ik ben er geweldig trots op dat ik door leden van Dabida als winnaar verkozen ben. De allereerste winnaar bij Dabida!!

During the election of the Dutch and Belgian Institute of Doll Artists, DABIDA, on the 5th of April 2009, I was awarded first prize for my sculpture Guardian. I am enourmously proud to have been chosen as the winner by members of DABIDA. The very first winner ever in DABIDA history!!
